Can I use the app offline?

The app requires a connection to the internet for some of its functions. When internet access is not available or if you turn off data roaming when travelling you will still be able to:
  • Dial the nearest Assistance Centre (assuming you have voice network coverage) will continue to work. However, please note, if you are not connected to the network, the phone will call the Assistance Centre that was closest to your last location when connected.
  • The medical and security alerts from when you last had internet access and accessed information on a particular country will be available, but it will not refresh to show more recent alerts.
  • The information for the last countries that you viewed or saved will be available for viewing but you will not be able to view new information.
