Data usage while traveling

The app requires a network connection to ensure that the medical and security alerts are up-to-date.  When connected to a network, the alerts for your current location (reflected on your country landing page) and your saved countries will be periodically refreshed.   No other countries will be refreshed to preserve data and battery usage.  

When disconnected from the cell or WIFI network, you can navigate throughout the app.  Your app will reflect the latest information that was refreshed and the time this sync occurred.
